Hope you are all enjoying the much needed fabulous sunshine. As most of you know we have our Humorous Speech and Table Topics Contests on Wed 26th Sept. We still need more judges, one timer and a Sergent at Arms. Any member can fill any of these roles, except of course if you are competing. If you need any information on what is involved just email me at vped@voxpopulidublin.com and I’d be happy to fill you in.
The Dublin Club and the Dunboyne Club are also looking for volunteers. The Dublin Club needs a timer for their contest on Thursday 27th Sept and the Dunboyne Club needs a judge for their contest on Monday 24th Sept. They will try and provide volunteers for us too. So if you are interested in either of these roles (again if you are competing you can’t be a judge in other club contests but you can do the other role, i.e. timer) please let me know. It would be a good opportunity to see another club and meet other toasties.
